About

Matt KirkHi, my name is Matt Kirk.

I’m a fitness professional based in inner Melbourne with over 12 years’ experience. It is my strong belief that fitness training is not simply about working hard every time you walk in to the gym. It is a strategic plan of action, which encompasses daily life choices, nutrition, posture and functional movement, and proper cardio prescriptions combined with resistance training.

I thrive on the challenge of developing individualised training programs that are specific to my clients’ goals and needs. I build all of my programs on the philosophy that you should “train with purpose.”

My attention to detail, gained from years of massage experience and rehabilitation/prehabilitation program prescriptions, has improved my ability to not only train you but also to teach the how and why. This knowledge and understanding of how and why will continue to benefit my clients well into the future.

This is what sets me apart from many other fitness professionals and allows me to work with you to achieve and surpass all your goals.

Do you want to be healthy, happy and pain free?

I will teach you the secrets of improved posture, how to efficiently move your body and reduce “old” body pain while strengthening your whole body.

Are you a person who is unhappy by the way you look feel or move?

  • Do you need Motivation and Direction to Improve?
  • Are you sick and tired “systems” that don’t work for you or yield results?
  • Have you been trying to reach your goals for a long time, but somehow can’t get there?
  • Confused by all the contradicting information out there of diets/exercises and wants to get the ideal tools that will work for you?
  • Are you the person that wants to be in the best shape of your life?
  • Do you want to fix the old injuries that reduce what you want to do in your day

Matt has, in such a short time, dramatically changed the way I feel, the way I hold myself and the way I move. With Matt leading me I am well on my way to achieving a strong and balanced body which I know will be more efficient in the way it moves and far less likely to break down under the stresses I subject it to.” Lisa Nelson, former Australian Triathlon Team Member
